I purchased this shirt for my husband for father's day. The way it was packaged in plastic with tags looked a little cheesy and I wanted it to look nice when wrapped up. I took the plastic off and the tags came off because of how they were attached with the wrap. Anyway, my husband loved the shirt. A couple days later he went to put it away and noticed a white mark on the sleeve and upper shoulder. It almost look like fade marks. So I returned it with a note that I do have intentions on purchasing another shirt. I never heard from the company. I called them on July 26 (5 weeks after the return) and the rep said that his receiving manager saw that the tags were not attached. He also said there was "evidence" by the look and feel of the shirt that it had been washed. They would not be crediting me but instead would be sending the flawed shirt back to us. We told them we never washed or wore the shirt. Basically, they called us liars. That's the part that is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Their policy does say if tags aren't attached they cannot credit you. Forget making an exception! But the worst is when they took it a step further and accused us of washing the shirt. I was prepared for them to tell me that they would be charging a restocking fee but I wasn't even that lucky. We are stuck with a shirt that they sent to us with marks on it. We can't use the shirt at all and spent $111.00 plus postage to return it to them. It's a shame that this company had to react like this. If they examined the shirt properly they could tell that the newness still appeared with the new smell, etc. They chose to lose a customer and risk staining their reputation.
